Fishy Smell Removed with a Spicy Sauce.
The sauce for godeungeo-jorim(braised mackerel) is made by mixing a generous amount of Gochujang(red chili paste) or red pepper flakes with soy sauce. Because mackerel can have a strong fishy smell, the sauce also includes generous dollops of garlic and ginger. Mackerel is braised on top of potatoes or white radish while the sauce is intermittently spooned over the fish. That's all! Enjoy your meal ◟( ˘ ³˘)◞

※Ingredients/재료(For 4 persons) -Mackerel/고등어 : 580g -Radish/무 : 380g -Spring Onion/파 : 50g -Onion/양파 : 80g -Chili/고추 : 40g -Suagr/설탕 : 1tbsp -Soybean Paste/된장 : 1/2tbsp -Chili Powder/고춧가루 : 2tbsp -Water/물 : 225mL -Soy Sauce/맛간장 : 3tbsp -Crushed Garlic/다진마늘 : 1tbsp -Mirim/미림 : 1tbsp -Red Chili Paste/고추장 : 1/2tbsp

-고등어 2마리 4인분 기준입니다. -손질한 고등어를 깨끗히 씻어주세요.
2.HOW TO MAKE A MARINADE/양념장 만들기
-Mix ①Soy Sauce②Mirim③Sugar④Chili Powder⑤Crushed Garlic⑥Soybean Paste⑦Red Chili Paste⑧Water together
/①간장②미림③설탕④고춧가루⑤다진마늘⑥된장⑦고추장⑧물을 넣고 섞어주세요
3.BRASING MACKEREL FOR 25mins/25분 졸이기 -Stack up layer on ingredients in the same order as above(①Radish ②Mackerel)/ 무를 팬 바닥에 깔고 손질한 고등어를 올려주세요. -Pour the marinade that we made in advance and braising for 15 mins/ 미리 만들어둔 양념장을 붓고 15분 정도 끓입니다. -Cook over med heat/불은 중불정도로 해주세요 -Add Spring Onion/Chili/Onion and Boiling for 10 mins more/15분 뒤 미리 준비한 채소①파②고추③양파를 넣고 10분 더 끓여주시면 끝 ! ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°
